General Rules to post by

We would like to keep the rules to a minimum. Even though your parents taught you most of these, I'll reiterate them here. The rules are designed to keep the YOUR TAKE experience a good one. We need everyone to follow the rules to keep a free-flowing, problem-free discussion.

Swear Filter – Yes, we filter bad language on this forum. If you wouldn't say it with your mom in the room, don't say it here. Any attempts to bypass the swear filter will be met with warnings and the possibility of a ban is always present.

Name Calling/Harrassment – If a person requests not to be called by a name please comply. This type of name calling will not be tolerated. This goes for everyone. Failure to comply will result in a warning, then subsequent banning. Racially motivated name calling is grounds for immediate banning.

Attack Ideas, Not People – Along the same lines as name calling. Attacking others based on race, sexuality, etc, cannot and will not be tolerated. Warnings and/or banning will be used to prevent these violations.

Spamming – Spamming the site in any way will result in a warning and/or banning. This includes spamming one thread to get your post count high.

Banning – Once you are banned, coming back as another ID will lengthen the time you are gone.

Please remember that while we try to actively monitor the posted messages, we cannot possibly read everything that’s posted. Please help us -- Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to use the red warning sign button below the DISPLAY MODES button. We have the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.
