You seem to think that there is no history of all of the recommendations that the gop made to obama in every concievable area of importance to the u.s. And part of the history shows obama ignoring every attempt to solve those problems in a bipartisan manner. Lets just look to what type of poll bump obama gets from that pathetic demonstration and that--will be the tell all of what america in now thinking of your pumpkin. |

A good speech--only for the faithful of what is fast becoming an international joke of a leader. What in reality--was it that made this rehashed excuse of one of his 2008 speeches so good? More of the same promises that he failed to deliver on? More of the same promises that has built the tea party movement up to the point that the dems are now in such a complete hysteria, that their retiring and refusing to run for re election? You know--this all could be better than '94.

Interesting that there is a total lack of reporting on any bump in the polls that should have resulted from his speech. With bush--it was within hours that the press was out with any + or - results in his polling. It would seem that the silence is deafening. Not to say that there aren't any out there--I dug around in various sites to find any early reactions from the public. And what I found--don't look at all good for the magic negro.
Rather than health care being his waterloo--it would definitely appear that his state of the union is in line to represent that turning point. His incredible insulting behavior to the scotus, nothing of which has ever been done by any potus before. And what compounds his boorish behavior--his abject ignorance about the ruling that he criticized. The opinion from the majority clearly referenced his gripe--no foreign individual, no foreign government and no foreign corporations are allowed to contribute to any political candidate or party. Though it is well documented that the clinton administration and the democrat party have ignored those restrictions in the past. This is obama's joe wilson moment, and instead of pointing his finger at someone that actually did something wrong, he highlighted himself as too ignorant, too stupid, too dishonest, too corrupt to hold the office that he is now disgracing. |
